she really enjoys chewing on her fingers

Here is a video of Paisley rolling over!

Current Updates:
  • Last weight taken one week ago: 14.5 lbs
  • Sleeps around 8.5/9 hrs at night (9/9:30 pm - 6/6:30 am). I have to wake her in the morning to feed her.
  • She still eats every three hours; except for her second feeding she goes 3.5 hrs and at night she sleeps through.
  • I'm trying to move her bedtime up, so she can get more uninterrupted sleep.
Interesting Tidbits about Paisley:
  1. likes to chew a pacifier on occasion to help her settle...you have to hold it for her
  2. very social and wants to laugh, talk, and smile during our nursing sessions (this can make our feedings last a bit longer)
  3. took 4.5 ounces from a bottle at daycare this week (the most she's ever taken)...it was also from a new and very interesting bottle I got from the breastfeeding clinic (Medela Calma Bottle)
  4. likes/needs to be swaddled to go to sleep; although we'd like to ween her from them
  5. enjoys watching Toby and even laughs at him
  6. started drooling and chewing/sucking on her fingers...a lot
  7. hates getting her eyes in the sun (she throws herself backwards really fast when she does)
  8. squeals with excitement when she's playing
  9. enjoys playing by herself in her play gym or bouncer
  10. thinks Daddy is really funny and loves to snuggle on Mommy after her first and last feedings

Don't Forget Toby:

Toby is doing great!  He really enjoyed having Matt's parents out for a visit last month.  Charles took him on several walks a day...which was a real treat for him since Paisley arrived.  (It's too much for me to manage taking Toby and Paisley on walks together.)

Yesterday, I helped Paisley pet Toby's head.  She rubbed him and smiled really big.  They are both curious about each other...as you can see below.  Sorry it's a blurry picture, but I was going to stop Toby from getting too close to her face, but then thought...hey, this will be a great picture.  I love Matt's expression...smile...oh wait...no....
